Race To Zero is a global campaign rallying non-state actors around the world, including companies, local governments, investors, and universities, to take immediate action to halve greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and achieve net zero by 2050 at the latest, and since its launch in June 2020, over 14,000 non-state actors have joined. This article is an interview with Kambe, one of the leaders working to achieve net zero among the many non-state actors from around the world participating in Race To Zero.

As an official partner of Race To Zero, the Japan Climate Initiative (JCI) has been supporting non-state actors from Japan who are participating in the Race To Zero.
