Improving daily energy efficiency is one of the major pillars of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. To do so, we must reduce energy consumption without changing the quality and quantity of services that we obatain. We should first assess the current state of energy consumption and actively promote improvements in air conditioning, lighting, production equipment, office equipment and facility management. In addition, local government policies are indispensable, to promote energy-saving measures for buildings, infrastructure and society as a whole.
