Increasing the proportion of renewable energy used is an effective way to assist in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Active promotion of renewable energy use, such as introducing on-site solar panels and purchasing as much renewable energy as possible, is key to getting closer to decarbonization. Furthermore, international movements promoting the use of renewable energy, such as RE100 (an international initiative of companies committed to 100% renewable energy use), are also becoming increasingly active.
