Green Recovery that\u00a0 aims to achieve both recovery from the COVID-19 crisis and decarbonization has been underway in each country. JCAS2020 was held as a place to share the global trend of overcoming the COVID-19 crisis and climate crisis, pioneering experiences of Japanese companies and local governments with others, and enhance the efforts of non-state actors toward COP26 to be held in November next year.<\/p>\n We welcomed Nigel Topping, who leads the global campaign “Race to Zero” as the High-Level Champion for Climate Action of COP26, Dr. Seita Emori from National Institute for Environmental Studies and top leaders from Japanese companies and local governments as guest speakers. We also received video messages from Dr. John Murton, Special Envoy of the UK COP26 and Michael R.
