\u65e5\u672c\u8a9e\u30da\u30fc\u30b8<\/a><\/p>\n COP27 (27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) was held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, from November 6th to November 18th, 2022.<\/p>\n On November 8, the United Nations’ High-Level Expert Group on the Net-Zero Emissions Commitments of Non-State Entities<\/a> released its Recommendations for Net-Zero Standards for Non-State Actors. From now on, more and more attention will be paid to how to commit to net zero and the quality of the efforts to achieve it.<\/p>\n During COP27, the Japan Climate Initiative (JCI) organized an event at the COP27 Japan Pavilion, the Japanese government’s event venue. In addition, various events were held by the Alliances for Climate Action (ACA)<\/a>, a global network of non-state and subnational actors\u2019 alliances from ten countries, including JCI, at WWF\/ACA Pavilion.<\/p>\n \u25a0November 14th: Now is the Time to Accelerate Action: Japanese Non-State Actors\u2019 Path to Net-Zero<\/strong><\/p>\n The IPCC\u2019s Sixth Assessment Report announced by the Working Group III stated that while there are still options available to reach the 1.5 \u00b0 C target, immediate mitigation measures across all sectors are essential to achieving it. Even during periods of global energy crises, climate action must not be allowed to take a back seat.
